Need to tips buying a new laptop?There are many interesting terms to know and here are the top 10 highly used terms by the computer sales man and in the computer industry. This will give some basic hints before shopping for a computer or laptop and make you comfortable while shopping. This  article is not a guide to buy a laptop but describes the terms which make your shopping comfortable.

Processor : Laptop Buying

This is an integrated circuit , which controls the computer. It is a heart of the computer. You may often here the term Dual Processor. It means the operating system has two processors to handle instructions and hence the speed is doubled.

Operating System(OS): Laptop Buying

OS is often heard term when you talk to the salesman in the laptop shop or to your friends. It is nothing but a software which helps you to control the computer. For example , if you enter the username and password and click logon, then you are asking the computer to logon through the operating system. Operating System(OS) is there in any computer, cell phones or Laptop.






Hard Drive: Laptop Buying

This is nothing but a permanent storage in the laptop. More the space in the hard drive , the price of the laptop will be more. More the RAM , the price of the laptop is higher. Make sure you can upgrade this if you need more in the future.

Upgrading is a process by which you can improve computer or laptops features. For example, if you already own a computer and if it is very slow, you can upgrade the RAM or processor to make it work faster. Upgrading is always expensive to do in any electronic device and it is better to make an early plan during the first purchase rather than going for an upgrade later.

Check, if the laptop can support wireless and wired broadband connection. It is a network or internet connection to transmit data between the computers. They are provided by internet service providers. The speed varies by plan and internet connection providers. If your computer is slow, while surfing the web, this is what you have to check first.
Bluetooth

A blue tooth is a wireless standard that connects computer, printer, cell phone or any other devices. It means they can be connected without any wire. You have to be careful that some other person next to you can connect to your device and take the data. So it is advisable to protect your data in the device before using a Device which has blue tooth in it.
